Truth

You must always tell the truth,
I was told when I was little.

I told the truth
and was laughed at.

I told the truth
and was beaten.

I told the truth
and was sworn at.

I noticed :
there are different types of truth.

My truth and your truth.
Which one is valid?

I do not know.

But I learned
to handle the truth of others
carefully.

.... and not to deny my own one.
